Staff Race Spirit

After the lifts stopped spinning at 4:30 p.m., the mountain came alive again — this time, not with guests, but with staff.

This week’s highlight was the annual Staff Race, a friendly but energetic event that brought together team members from across the resort. Once the course was set, staff from Snowsports and every other department — Rentals, Guest Services, Grooming, Admin — came out to race.

Participants were divided into categories by gender and equipment: ski, snowboard, and telemark. Each group competed for the fastest time, cheered on by their fellow teammates.

The competition was real, but the vibe stayed light-hearted. After the final run, we swapped helmets for hats, clicked out of our bindings, and raised a glass together. 🍻

Events like this remind us of the unique spirit that lives in a mountain town: we work hard, play harder, and share moments like this that turn coworkers into a community.
