Terms & Conditions

​1. Introduction

Service Provider and Scope

Niseko Ski Lesson is operated by ACCENT LLC, providing private ski and snowboard lessons.
Our primary lesson locations include Niseko, Rusutsu, Kiroro, Furano, Asahikawa, Sapporo, and throughout Hokkaido.
Upon request, we can also arrange lessons at other ski resorts across Japan and internationally.

2. Booking and Payment

Reservation and Payment Terms

All Niseko Ski Lessons require full advance booking and payment.
Reservations are confirmed only after full payment has been received.
Payments are accepted primarily via credit card, but bank transfers and Wise are also available.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Flexible Yet Clear Cancellation Rules

  • Cancellations 31 days or more before the lesson date: No cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations between 30 and 16 days before the lesson: 20% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations between 15 days and 48 hours before the lesson: 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours: 100% cancellation fee.

If a customer fails to appear without notice within 10 minutes of the scheduled lesson start time, the lesson will be treated as canceled, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply with no refund.

Refunds are only granted if all lifts are suspended due to severe weather or mechanical/electrical issues.

4. Service Modifications

Adaptability for Your Best Ski Experience

If all lifts are suspended due to weather or mechanical failure, we may propose relocating the lesson to another ski resort.
For example, if lessons in Niseko are not possible, we may suggest moving to Rusutsu or another nearby resort.

Additionally, considering Niseko’s peak congestion, we may proactively recommend alternative locations like Kiroro or Rusutsu.
In such cases, any additional costs incurred will be discussed transparently with the customer before confirming the change.

If a private lesson is booked for three participants but significant differences in skill levels are observed, we may suggest adding an additional instructor, with prior consultation.

5. Participant Requirements

Participation Conditions and Agreement

Participation in our Niseko Ski Lessons requires agreement to the following terms:

  1. I understand that snow activities involve risks of injury or death, including bruises, fractures, paralysis, head trauma, or internal injuries, and may involve property loss or damage.

  2. I agree to follow all instructions given by the instructor to ensure a safe lesson.
    Any violent or inappropriate behavior toward the instructor will result in immediate cancellation of participation.

  3. I accept full responsibility for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages resulting from my participation in snow activities.

  4. I agree not to hold other participants or ACCENT LLC liable for any damage, loss, or injury related to my participation.

6. Liability Waiver

Your Safety, Our Responsibility

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase appropriate travel insurance prior to participating.
For additional peace of mind, Niseko Ski Lesson maintains comprehensive insurance coverage.
In the event of an accident, our insurance policy may apply depending on the situation.

7. Personal Information

Strict Protection of Your Privacy

Personal information is handled with the utmost care and strict compliance with applicable laws.
It will only be used for managing reservations and will never be used for any other purposes.

8. Governing Law

Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sapporo District Court.

9. Changes to Terms

Notification of Changes

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions.
Any changes will be announced in advance via our website.
