Terms & Conditions
1. Safety
1.1 By booking a ski and/or snowboard lesson, students (or their parents/guardians) acknowledge that snow sports carry inherent risks and may result in injury. It is essential to follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor and comply with the relevant safety regulations of the ski resort.
1.2 Students must have valid travel insurance or equivalent coverage for snow sportactivities. The instructor assumes no legal responsibility for any injuries or accident occurring before, during, or after the lesson once the service has commenced.
1.3 Student safety is our top priority. Helmets, protective gear, gloves, and other safety equipment are strongly recommended. Lesson fees do not include the cost of safety equipment. Students are expected to arrive with their own gear prepared.
2. Lessons
2.1 A full-day lesson consists of six (or seven) hours, including at least a 30 minute lunch break. Lunch is not included in the lesson fee. For children's lessons, if parents or guardians are not present during the break, they must provide lunch or sufficient funds in advance.
2.2 Students must arrive at the designated meeting point on time, fully dressed and with valid lift passes purchased. The instructor is not responsible for delays caused by lack of preparation or missing lift tickets.
2.3 Lesson prices do not include lift passes or equipment rental. Support can be provided upon request during the booking process.
3. Booking & Cancellation
3.1 Please confirm instructor availability before booking. After completing the reservation form, a course confirmation will be sent within 48 hours.
3.2 Upon receiving the invoice via Square, payment must be made in full within seven (7) days to secure the booking.
3.3 Cancellation and refund policy:
• More than 61 days before the lesson: Full refund
• 60–30 days before: 20% cancellation fee
• Less than 30 days before: No refund
Full refunds will also be issued in the following cases:
• Complete ski lift closures due to severe weather
• Ski resort-wide mechanical or electrical failures
• Medical emergencies (must be reported at least 1 hour prior to lesson start and supported by a medical certificate within 24 hours)
3.4 In the event of an official resort closure, the following options are available:
• Free transfer to another Niseko resort, or transfer to Rusutsu/Kiroro for a reduced transfer fee of ¥10,000 (standard fee ¥20,000)
• Lesson reschedule (no change fee)
• Full refund
3.5 If there is no contact and the student is over one hour late, the lesson will be considered forfeited and non-refundable. Delays due to personal reasons (e.g. late arrival, missing lift pass, unsuitable equipment) will not result in compensation or lesson extension.
3.6 Lessons will commence from the originally agreed start time, regardless of the student’s arrival time. Delays due to lateness will not result in time extensions or refunds.
3.7 Post-payment changes to lesson content (e.g. time, topics, instructor) may be declined or treated as a cancellation. Standard cancellation fees will apply.
3.8 If the resort is open and lifts are operational, no refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather.
3.9 Refunds will only be processed using the original payment method. Processing times depend on your provider.
