The lifts are on hold. The clouds are thick. The snow? Hard to find. This week’s scene captures one of those truly chaotic mountain moments—when the weather turns, the Baby Chair goes on hold, and suddenly everyone is stuck at the base, trying to figure out what to do next.

Instructors huddle with students. Families scan the map. Kids wiggle in their boots, wondering when (or if) they’ll get to ski. It’s like a snowy version of a busy train station—everyone looking for direction, and no one quite sure where to go.

But this is part of skiing, too. When you play in the mountains, you play by nature’s rules. Not every day is bluebird, not every lift runs on time. But it’s those unpredictable moments that make the good days feel even better.

Here’s hoping for clearer skies next week.
