Not every moment in the mountains is about skiing fast or chasing powder. Sometimes, it’s about stopping, laughing, and building something small that makes everyone smile.

This week’s photo features a snowman—simple, cheerful, and standing proudly against the alpine backdrop. Maybe it’s not the biggest or fanciest creation, but that’s the charm. In its little details, you can see the joy of those who made it: the laughter, the teamwork, the playful spirit of winter.

For kids, snowmen are more than just shapes of snow. They’re companions, mascots, little characters that live on the mountain—until the sun or the next storm takes them away. And for adults, they’re reminders that sometimes the best memories are built slowly, with cold hands and warm hearts.

Skiing teaches us to carve, balance, and move with the mountain. But snowmen remind us to pause, to play, and to appreciate the simple magic of snow.
